Hymn for Liberation, Peace, and Reconciliation in Burundi.

As the author of the lyrics and melody of the liberating anthem of Burundi’s ruling party, the CNDD-FDD, I recently published my work in a booklet entitled _Hymn for Liberation, Peace, and Reconciliation_, published by my own publishing house: Éditions FEMIDEJABAT Livres.

This poetic-patriotic text, whose words were inspired in 1995 during my exile in Uvira, Democratic Republic of Congo, is now preserved in this publication. The main objective of this publication is to affirm my authorship of this historic work and to preserve this invaluable national treasure, so that current and future generations can draw from it the values of mutual acceptance, forgiveness, peace, and reconciliation, all woven into patriotic love.

This publication also aims to fulfill the prophecy that nations will come to the “land of milk and honey” (one of Burundi’s prophetic names) to learn successful social cohesion. This is evidenced by the translation of this anthem into 20 languages, including the four main languages spoken in Burundi: Kirundi, Swahili, French, and English.

This booklet is not for sale and can be viewed online.
